Absolutely fantastic
experience -- the perfect combination of quality professional
guiding, gorgeous scenery, and unforgettable personal encounters
with these majestic birds. These guys are the real deal; there
is no one else doing this in the Cusco area, the site is unknown
to tourists, and they are working internationally to preserve
the Andean condor. Highly recommended.

We had 4 wonderful days at
the Condor Lodge in April 2007.
Everybody who wants to get off the beaten track in Peru is right
here!
The scenery at the lodge is just fantastic and Javier and his
crew are really hearty.
Beside watching the condors we did some trekking, horseriding,
fishing, visited a
guinea pig-farm and just relaxed.
Don`t miss it!!!!

Condor watching without the
tourists. An unforgettable experience of beautiful unspoilt
landscapes, wildlife and tranquility. This organization (www.condorlodge.com)
has a strong ecofriendly ethic and takes only small groups to
this remote place. Their primary aim is to conserve the condors
in the Apurimac Canyon (near Cusco), in addition, they hope to
have a postive low-impact effect on the local community by
including them in the project.

A highlight of my South
American adventure. Travelling in a small group, this trip took
us deep into the beautiful Apurimac canyon where we watched our
own private display from the condors. We received a warm welcome
from Javier and the guides who took us hiking and horseriding
before looking after us at the lovely farmhouse. Don't miss this
chance to see a bit more than just the tourist trail!
